Answers
- How soon do you need it done? We encourage a “can do” attitude amongst our team. If you have tight deadlines or time-sensitive material thus requiring more staff, we’ll do our best to accommodate you at short notice although this may incur an additional charge. It’s always better not to leave your distribution arrangements till the last minute.
- No, although we do have a minimum fee of £65.00 which enables us to comply with national minimum wage regulations.
- Ideally 5-7 day’s notice (anything less may incur an extra charge). However we are quite flexible and can often cater for clients at short notice.
- Offensive or controversial material and bulky items which cannot fit through letterboxes, except for items which can be left outside. We can make special arrangements for bulky items which must not be left outside and need to be handed to the addressee in person or left with a neighbour. Any such deliveries will incur an extra charge and undelivered items will be returned to you at your expense or recycled if not collected within the time agreed.
- Usually yes, but any know to have a history of violence or where our distributors have previously been made to feel unwelcome or threatened will be excluded.
- Yes. Commercial Distributions are priced at an hourly rate.
- We employ only adult distributors (16+) and inspectors who understand the value of your publications, that they cost money to produce and that the success of your distribution campaign depends on us. Should you wish however to verify for yourself that your publication has been delivered, you or a member of your staff can simply knock on a few doors, show householders your publication and ask if they’ve received it. We strongly advise that such checks are done almost immediately (certainly within 24 hrs) as residents in heavily distributed areas often dispose of and forget unwanted leaflets almost as soon as they’re delivered – usually without telling the member of the household who informs you at the door that he/she has not seen your publication.
- No. We will however diligently deliver your items and are willing to offer informal advice on increasing sales. A number of factors may determine customer response:
- Demographics of the area in which your publication is distributed
- Presentation & Wording of Your Publication
- Overpricing of your goods and services
- Competition from similar companies advertising in the same area
- Time of year/day of the week
- Lack of Interest in your particular product/service in certain neighbourhoods
- Yes. Why not, for as the saying goes, “Half a loaf is better than none”. Who knows maybe next time you’ll print with us.
- True, but like many business owners, you may not have the time to do this yourself. Also, British law states that children are of “compulsory school age” until the last Friday of June during the year they become 16. Children under 16 would therefore not have much time to dedicate to your job and unsupervised youths will work carelessly, not realising the vital role they play in ensuring the success of your business.
- We usually advise our distributors not to deliver to these addresses as we do not want to upset residents or place distributors at risk of being abused or attacked. This does not of course apply to individually addressed mail nor government literature which, by law, has to be delivered to every home. We do charge such organisations more for the service, inform them of the addresses where it has not been possible to deliver and if requested, return all delivered items to them.
- No, we will not subject our distributors to any danger – real or perceived.

- We cannot guarantee to cover every letterbox in the defined area as there are a number of factors which may prevent this:
- PinPoint Marketing Ltd will not normally deliver material to an address which has a notice advising that the resident does not wish to receive it.
- PinPoint Marketing Ltd instructs its distributors not to deliver to any address where our distributors have been attacked or threatened or any known to have a history of violence.
- Distributors are encouraged to put safety first at all times and may choose not to deliver to any property which either has a warning of a dog on the premises or where their encounter with a dog leads them to feel fearful.
- Distributors will not usually deliver to obviously vacant or hazardous properties.
- Multi-occupancy properties usually have security entrances which may be inaccessible to distributors.
- Some properties do not have a letterbox or it might not be situated at the front of the property.
- If a door has been left ajar or is open on approach, the distributor may wish to avoid approaching so as not to invade the privacy of occupants.
- Our distributors occasionally come across letterboxes which are already full, leaving no room to fit our Client’s post. In such cases, we have no option but to skip that particular letterbox.
- Because items are unaddressed, distributors occasionally fail to realise that they have not delivered to a specific address.
- For Residential Distribution, PinPoint Marketing Ltd will only deliver to shops and business premises at its discretion.
